Duncan graduated from the University of Oregon with a Master's Degree in Architecture, specializing in sustainability. He started his career in New York City, working on large-scale residential buildings and commercial projects. Duncan is on his way to becoming a licensed architect, having completed his IDP hours and currently studying for his exams. He grew up nearby in New Canaan, CT, and now lives in Bethel, CT, with his girlfriend and two German Shepherds.

Outside of work, Duncan is quite the outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, surfing, fly fishing, hiking with the pups, and live music.
