J.McLaughlin

The upscale clothing brand, J.McLaughlin - a national chain of 170 stores - opened a new store in downtown Ridgefield, Connecticut. Trillium Architects did all of the permitting work for this location and worked with J.McLaughlin's national design team to make sure the store's look and feel fit seemlessly with that of the national brand.

Permitting included conceptulizing the space, creating site plans, evaluating site constraints, and zoning requirements. It also included drafting construction documents - detailed, scaled drawings that include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing details. During the permitting process, we also made sure the designs met all applicable codes, and submitted the applications to local authorities. We also managed plan revisions, coordinated with structural and mechanical engineers and submited applications to local authorities.
