Megan Loucas, AIA
Director of Design, Owner
Megan is a licensed architect and director of design at Trillium Architects Co-operative. She joined Trillium in 2019 and became an owner in 2024. Megan is a Colorado native and has a BA in Film from Northwestern University. She worked in film and motion graphics in Los Angeles before receiving her Master’s of Architecture from UCLA in 2009. Megan is inspired by materiality and by Mid-century architecture and its focus on nature.

Megan has worked on projects across the country and in Canada ranging from ground-up, single-family residences to major renovations to retail and commercial fit-outs. Some notable projects include renovations of Richard Neutra’s Brown and Singleton houses, a Passive House gut renovation of the Fine Home Building featured house of 2020, design of the Vince stores in Westport, CT, and New York City, and the design of a yoga and retail studio in Ridgefield, CT.

She moved from Los Angeles to Weston, CT, where she and her husband renovated their house and are raising two little girls. If she had any free time, Megan would spend it building furniture or taking runs in her beautiful town. For the time being, she is honing her dress-up and make-believe skills and serving on the Weston Planning and Zoning Commission and the town’s Building Committee.
