She has been working in architecture since 1982- her sophomore year of high school.  She has worked for many high end Architects in Fairfield County. She has lived and worked in Los Angeles, New York and 'off the grid' in Colorado and thus has experience with extremely high end residential construction as well as extremely do-it-yourself, hands on construction - such as straw bale and adobe building methods. LEED home design, passive solar, alternative fuel sources, alternative building methods and materials, are all with-in Elizabeth's realm of expertise.

Elizabeth speaks to both the public and the building industry on prioritizing green residential construction.

One of the most important aspects of a successful project is bringing together an appropriate team. A project team can include some or all of the following: homeowner, architect, builder, construction manager, engineers, landscaper designer, interior designer, lighting designer, bank, community board, town officials, neighbors, and any consultant or person who will effect the project outcome. Having all parties involved and on board as early as possible in the process, when the opportunity to affect outcome is the greatest, is a recipe for success. Each team member plays an important and often complex role. The timely distribution of information to all parties is vital. We emphasize excellent communication and promote disclosure. Our goal is to maintain expectations and shepherd relationships. This is integral to the day-to-day workings of the project as well as the successful completion of your project as budgeted.
